The family-size 1.6 cu. ft., 1100 Watt Microwave Oven in Stainless Steel SMC1662KS is built for your dream kitchen with easy-to-clean with stylish gray interior, and LED light complement your style. The 13.6 in., dishwasher-safe glass plate of the Carousel® turntable system makes cleanup easy, and the white LED display is bright and easy-to-read.

The SMC1662KS is packed with thoughtful and innovative features. Precise Cook sensor technology takes the guesswork out of defrosting and cooking, and makes reheating food and beverages a breeze. The Melt and Soften controls of the SMC1662KS will melt cheese and even soften ice cream. Express Cook offers One-Touch cooking for up to six minutes. The +30 key can be used for an instant start and to add time during cooking.

Auto Defrost regulates the power to accurately and automatically defrost by time or weight, taking the guesswork out of thawing most foods including meat, poultry and fish.

The Child-Resistant Door Lock requires a user to press "0/Unlock" before opening the microwave door after cooking has been initiated. This feature can be easily enabled or disabled to meet your needs. Learn more on how to disable/enable this feature in your operation manual.

Convenient preset buttons get you started for most popular cooking times for foods such as potato, veggie, beverage and popcorn.
